ZoomFolk 1:    Monday 26 July 7.30 p.m.

ZoomFolk   -    an online event with live, acoustic music.

Contemporary and traditional folk and country music.

Admission:   FREE

The first event will be held on Monday 26 July at 7.30 p.m.

We will be closing the show by 10.00 p.m.

Pure acoustic performances in a live Zoom event, hosted by Michael Braccia and Lesley Clayton of the acoustic duo Second Chance.

To get involved, please send an email to michaelbraccia@hotmail.com requesting an invitation to the event.

Please send your email request at the latest by 2 p.m. Thursday 22 July.

You can join the event as a performer or audience member. If you would like to appear as a performer, please let us know the songs you would like to perform (maximum of 4), to reduce the chance of duplication. Don't worry if you want to change your choice of songs nearer the time.  Just let us know -  even on the night.

We will display the performers' names and song choices on this page.

Please say how you want your name to be displayed.  e.g. full name, first name or maybe the name of your duo or group.

All you need is an internet connection, access to 'Zoom' on your P.C. or tablet and a webcam.

The number of songs you perform will depend on the number of performers who have applied.  We want everyone to have the opportunity to do at least one song.

We look forward to seeing you at 'ZoomFolk with Second Chance'

Best wishes,

Michael Braccia and Lesley Clayton

Monday 29 November 2021  7.30 p.m.

A live interactive folk / acoustic music event, via Zoom

Hosted by Michael Braccia and Lesley Clayton of the acoustic duo, Second Chance

You can join the event as a performer or audience member (let us know which you prefer).   For the Christmas event,  the artists will sing both Christmas and pop / rock / folk songs.

To get involved, please send an email requesting a Zoom invitation to:

michaelbraccia@hotmail.com    by Sunday 31 October for performers and Sunday 14 November for audience members.  To be fair to existing performers,  we need to know the numbers so we can calculate how many songs each of the artists will perform.

Information for those of you new to Zoom:

Audience members can if they wish use Zoom software (free to download) and a webcam to interact with the host and performers, but they don't have to.

You can access a Zoom meeting via your internet browser (e.g. Edge or Chrome) and watch the performances just like you have watched YouTube or Facebook videos, and listen through your computer speakers.  Someone actually did this during our first ZoomFolk event on 26 July.  He said it was 'just like watching the telly'.

All you need is the link we will send you in an email after you have requested a 'Zoom invitation'.   You then have the choice to use Zoom software or 'join from your browser'.
