My new book - Banfield Tales

My second book, 'Banfield Tales', a collection of short stories; and to say that this is different to my debut novel (Could it be That Way) would be an understatement. I had a lot of fun writing these short stories, some of which have been entered into writing competitions.

The collection includes a mixture of genres - quirky comic tales, romance, science fiction and ghost stories. Hopefully something for everyone! Taking into account costs of production, I have tried to keep the price down as low as possible, just in time for Christmas !

There are sad stories of teenage lost love, a single parent coping with redundancy, a pre-war murder setting the scene for a ghost story, and the quirky stories. In 'Pigeon', the character from the title turns the tables on the stereotypical middle-aged man who loves to chase the pigeons out of his garden. In 'The Man in The Shed', a squatter surprises a supposedly happy couple. 'Victor' has a really bad day. Hopefully, some of the stories will make you laugh, and maybe one or two might make you cry.
