Extract from story 8 of 15 in Banfield Tales

Extract from 'The Birthday Present' (story 8 of 15 in the short story collection Banfield Tales):

"Greg really did want the new B-Box Superama Game Panel, alternatively known as the FX600. According to Greg, the extra bonus was that it's Windows 10 compatible. Greg's Dad, Jeff, said the technology passed him by. He reluctantly played the occasional computer game with his son, and had made an extra effort over the last year since Greg's Mom finally succumbed to the cancer that had taken over their lives. He wanted to do as much as possible for his son, and he could just about afford it. His only doubt was that he might be spoiling him, replacing the endless time and love that Katie had given them both."
